Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and standards
• Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients
• Cook menu items with attention to quality, presentation, and timely service
• Maintain food safety standards by adhering to proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
• Support kitchen operations by organizing supplies, restocking stations, and cleaning work areas regularly
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen flow and excellent service delivery
• Follow all health department regulations and company policies to uphold a safe working environment

Skills

• Experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is highly desirable
• Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within restaurant or food industry settings
• Knowledge of menu planning and meal assembly techniques
• Proficiency with knife skills and basic culinary techniques
• Familiarity with food safety protocols and sanitation standards
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
