Part-Time Warehouse Custodian – 2nd Shift

Location: Morrison, IL
Pay: $17.50 per hour
Schedule: Part-Time | 2nd Shift | 4PM-7PM | Monday-Friday, Occasional Saturday

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Custodian to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of our warehouse, production, office, and outdoor areas. This position is responsible for performing general janitorial duties, facility upkeep, restroom sanitation, waste removal, and supporting a safe and clean working environment.

Responsibilities

Restroom Cleaning & Sanitation

• Clean and sanitize toilets, sinks, mirrors, and restroom fixtures.
• Refill soap, paper towel, toilet paper, and other restroom dispensers.
• Ensure restrooms remain clean, stocked, and presentable throughout the shift.

General Cleaning & Janitorial Duties

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust offices, warehouses, breakrooms, restrooms, and common areas.
• Dust office furniture, window ledges, fixtures, and workspaces.
• Clean windows and glass surfaces as assigned.
• Clean microwaves inside and outside and maintain breakroom cleanliness.
• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces throughout the facility.

Waste Removal & Facility Support

• Collect, remove, and dispose of all trash and recycling throughout the facility.
• Monitor and maintain trash containers, recycling bins, and waste areas.
• Change light bulbs, unclog toilets, and perform basic facility maintenance tasks as needed.

Indoor & Outdoor Maintenance

• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse floors, office areas, production spaces, entrances, walkways, and exterior grounds.
• Remove debris and help maintain a clean, safe facility inside and outside the building.
• Support additional cleaning and facility projects as assigned by leadership.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing and warehouse environment containing organic materials such as soil and fertilizer.
• Dusty, dirty, and physically demanding conditions.
• Work performed indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and temperatures.
• Fast-paced industrial setting with frequent foot traffic and equipment movement.

Requirements

• Previous janitorial, custodial, warehouse, or industrial cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift, bend, walk, stand, and perform physical labor throughout the shift.
• Ability to work in dusty, dirty, and outdoor conditions.
• Comfortable working around organic materials such as soil and fertilizer.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and follow cleaning schedules.
• Willingness to work mandatory overtime as needed.

Compensation & Benefits

• $17.50 per hour
• Part-Time Schedule
