Cleanroom Mechanical Assembly Technician – 1st Shift
Location: Carrollton, TX
Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Pay: $20/hr
We are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Cleanroom Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our production team. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, intermediate to advanced computer skills, and the ability to work in a controlled cleanroom environment. As a Cleanroom Mechanical Assembly Technician, you will assemble high‑quality components, follow precise documentation, and support daily production goals while maintaining strict cleanliness and safety standards.
Position Overview
The Cleanroom Mechanical Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling parts and subassemblies using engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions. This role requires excellent attention to detail, the ability to interpret technical documentation, and comfort working with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment. Strong computer skills are required to operate terminals, complete documentation, and navigate software applications.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical assemblies and sub‑assemblies with accuracy
- Conduct leak testing and standard product testing as required
- Use hand tools, power tools, and bench tools to complete tasks
- Read and interpret work instructions, drawings, schematics, and parts lists
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
- Perform minor troubleshooting and assist with quality checks
- Maintain cleanroom protocols, gowning procedures, and safety standards
- Follow all documentation, cleanliness, and production requirements
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Experience in assembly, manufacturing, or related environments
- Cable and harness assembly experience is a plus
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and technical drawings
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills (required)
- Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints preferred
Education & Certifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Technical coursework or an AA technical degree preferred
Experience Requirements
- 1 years of experience in a manufacturing or cleanroom environment
- Experience with helium leak testing, module testing, or inspection is a plus
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
