Position Overview
We are seeking strong Apigee Developers to support enterprise API management and digital transformation initiatives for Truist. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Apigee API Gateway development, RESTful services, API security, microservices integration, and enterprise API management platforms.
Candidates should possess solid backend integration experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced enterprise banking environment.
Required Qualifications
- 8 years of overall software development experience
- 5 years of hands-on Apigee development experience
- Strong experience designing and developing REST APIs and microservices
- Experience implementing enterprise API management solutions
- Strong understanding of API security standards and best practices
- Experience with API lifecycle management and API governance
- Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Required Technical Skills
Strong hands-on expertise in Apigee Edge / Apigee X, RESTful APIs, API proxies, API policies, OAuth 2.0, JWT, OpenID Connect, API security, API gateway implementation, microservices architecture, JSON/XML, JavaScript, Node.js, Java, Spring Boot, CI/CD pipelines, Git, Maven, Jenkins, and cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS. Candidates should also have experience with API monitoring, logging, traffic management, rate limiting, caching, debugging, and backend system integrations.

- Design, develop, and deploy APIs using Apigee
