The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the preparation, analysis, and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements and management reports. This role provides technical accounting expertise, ensures compliance with GAAP, leads financial reporting processes, and partners cross-functionally to drive financial clarity and operational decision-making.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
•Meticulous management of consolidated financial statements and finance reporting activities, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
•Manages consolidated reporting, including elimination entries and intercompany reconciliations in accordance with GAAP.
•Prepares consolidate owner and management reporting packages, KPI dashboards, and variance analyses.
•Ensures accuracy, completeness, and integrity of the financial reporting process.
•Researches, interprets, and documents accounting guidance, including ASC standards related to consolidation, revenue recognition, leases, and VIEs.
•Assists to expedite and streamline close timelines while maintaining quality and accuracy.
•Serves as a contact for external auditors during annual audits and quarterly reviews.
•Supports executive leadership with ad hoc reporting, presentations, and analyses.
•Drives process improvement initiatives across systems, reporting, and controls.
•Assists CFO and Controller as the organization’s expert on technical reporting for finance and accounting.
•This role will be given additional tasks and responsibilities that fall within the finance and accounting department as the individual grows in the role.
•Performs other related duties as needed or assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
•Demonstrated ability to clearly articulate and interpret complex financial information to stakeholders of various levels of financial acumen communication (e.g., written or verbal) and provide actionable insights.
•Advanced Excel and financial modeling proficiency.
•Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
•Excellent organizational skills with acute attention to detail.
•Comprehensive understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and other applicable financial reporting standards.
•Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic/entrepreneurial environment, and effectively and positively manage multiple (changing) priorities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
•Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (required)
•CPA (preferred)
•Experience with consolidation, multi-entity environment, and technical accounting issues (required)
•Minimum 10 years’ experience in a related finance or accounting role (required)
•Hospitality industry experience in restaurant/retail (preferred)
•Experience with Great Plains, Dynamics 365, and F9 (preferred)
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Normal office environment with standard lighting and average noise levels. Prolonged periods sitting at desk and working on a computer. Regular/repetitive use of hands and fingers to operate computer components (e.g., keyboard, mouse, etc.). Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds, bend, reach, and squat. May need to stand or walk for extended periods.
