Summary
We are seeking an individual who is a registered nurse and can assist with intake duties. In this role, you will play a vital part in the intake process, helping to assess new clients and ensure they receive the support they need as they begin their recovery journey. Your contributions will be essential in creating a welcoming environment that promotes healing and growth.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial assessments of clients seeking treatment for substance use disorders.
- Assist with amblitory needs.
- Assist with intake needs.
- Gather necessary documentation and information to facilitate the intake process.
- Provide compassionate support to clients during their initial visit, ensuring they feel welcomed and understood.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to develop appropriate treatment plans based on client needs.
- Maintain accurate records of client information and intake procedures in compliance with organizational standards.
- Assist in scheduling appointments and coordinating follow-up care as needed.
Requirements
- Experience in behavioral health or substance abuse treatment preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Ability to demonstrate empathy and understanding towards individuals facing addiction challenges.
- Basic knowledge of occupational health standards is a plus.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
