Position Summary:
The Junior Engineer supports the Engineering Department in developing technical drawings, coordinating with internal teams, and assisting in the preparation of shop drawings and fabrication details. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals with 0–3 years of experience who are eager to learn about window systems. The role involves hands-on training, close mentorship, and exposure to a wide range of engineering and manufacturing processes.
Essential Functions:
- Interpretation of architectural details and drawings
- Assist in the preparation and revision of AutoCAD drawings for fabrication and installation.
- Support senior engineers in the interpretation of architectural drawings and specifications.
- Perform basic field measurements and assist with documentation of existing conditions.
- Create and update hand sketches or digital markups under guidance.
- Enter and maintain accurate project data and material information.
- Communicate effectively with team members in engineering, project management, and sales.
- Participate in training sessions and apply learning to daily tasks
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to fluently manipulate AutoCAD (AutoCAD experience required)
- Read and understand Architectural Shops Drawings
- Advanced Excel skills
- Hand tool knowledge
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professionalism in a team-oriented organization
- Willingness and ability to learn and grow
- Technically adept
- Highly accurate in mathematical skills, data manipulation and technical drafting
- Ability to communicate effectively orally, in written form, and in graphics (shop drawings)
Experience & Education:

Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
