Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond quickly to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. The Security Officer will monitor premises through surveillance systems, conduct regular patrols, and enforce security policies.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises.
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to ensure safety and security.
- Respond promptly to alarms or emergency situations, assessing the situation and taking appropriate action.
- Utilize surveillance equipment such as CCTV to monitor activities within the facility.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary in case of emergencies or investigations.
- Provide first aid assistance as needed and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage conflicts effectively through conflict management techniques when necessary.
Experience
Must have security experience .
Need a clean driving record.
Background check will be done .
Hours are Friday and Saturday night 6:30 pm -11pm and Sunday from 4pm-8pm
Need to able to write reports .
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
