Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Food Runner to join our skyline restaurant team. As a Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and efficiently, enhancing their dining experience. This position requires communication skills, guest services, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner.
- Assist servers by providing support during busy service periods.
- Ensure that all food items are presented beautifully and accurately according to the order.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area and dining room.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service flow.
- Help with food preparation as needed, including assisting cooks during peak times.
- Adhere to food handling and safety standards at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest needs promptly.
Skills
- Strong guest services skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Experience in food preparation or restaurant settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and guests.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar restaurant management systems is a plus.
- Capability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility to assist in banquet services when required.
