Must be 18 or older and have weekend and evening availability as well as a couple of earlier days of the week.
Duties
- Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures
- Assist with bussing tables and clearing plates to maintain a clean dining environment
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of pots, pans, and bulk supplies safely and correctly
- Support food preparation by organizing kitchen tools and ingredients as needed
- Follow food safety management protocols to ensure hygiene standards are met at all times
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to support food handling, cooking, and catering operations during busy service times
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitizing procedures in a commercial kitchen setting
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods
- Basic knife skills and familiarity with food service operations are a plus
- Experience with banquet or catering environments is advantageous
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health regulations
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting the overall food service operation
