Skyline Art is seeking a Senior Art Consultant to lead the conception and delivery of sophisticated, largescale art programs for healthcare, corporate, and higher education environments. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who combines strong creative vision with exceptional client facing and leadership skills.
The Senior Art Consultant will serve as a primary client contact, manage complex projects, and mentor team members while ensuring the successful execution of art programs from concept through installation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of comprehensive art programs for high-profile projects
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior level and executive clients, confidently presenting concepts, strategies, and recommendations
- Manage all phases of projects, including planning, execution, and close‑out
- Oversee budgets, schedules, consultants, artists, and vendors
- Review and interpret construction documents to ensure art integration aligns with architectural intent
- Collaborate with internal production, graphics, framing, and installation teams
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff
- Represent Skyline Art at client meetings, presentations, and industry events
Required Skills & Experience
- 5 years of experience in the interior design and/or fine arts industry
- Proven experience managing complex, multi‑phase projects
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- High level of comfort presenting to senior leadership and executive level clients
- Strong client relationship management and strategic problem solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Passion, curiosity, and depth of knowledge in art and design
Technical Proficiency
- Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
- Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Bluebeam Revu
- Autodesk AutoCAD
- SketchUp
Qualifications
- BS, BA, or BFA in Architecture, Interior Design, or Fine Arts
- Strong understanding of construction documents, including:
- Elevations
- RCPs
- MEPs
- Finish plans and schedules
- Ability to interpret and visualize spaces three dimensionally from drawings
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and SketchUp
- Experience leading projects with minimal supervision

- Schedule: Monday–Thursday 8am-6pm, Friday 8am-12noon
- Location: Houston, TX 77024 (Required, in person)
