Job duties:
Maintains Infection Control Practices
Application of a sterile dressing
Application of a clean dressing
Ability to stage a pressure ulcer
Familiar with terms used in skin assessments
Demonstrates the ability to receive and transfer orders.
Implements measures to prevent further breakdown and/or decrease the risk for future breakdown
Ensures RD (registered dietitian) is aware of resident with ulceration’s.
Demonstrates the ability to distinguish between pressure and stasis ulceration.
Demonstrates the ability to measure (width, length and depth) an ulceration.
Willingness to attend in-services regarding wound care or related subjects.
Ensures albumin level is within range
Communicates well with resident, family and staff
Documents skin assessments timely and accurately

Responsibilities:
1. Complete routine and new assessments for residents
2. Documenting all care provided into EMAR system
3. Administer medications as prescribed, documenting them on MARS
4. Provide wound care and necessary treatments as ordered
5. Communicate with and Supervise CNA's on shift
6. Communicate with physicains and providers about care needs and changes in care.
7. Commnicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.
8. Develop and foster relationships with residents and staff to provide a family and homelike environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00 - $38.00 per hour
