The opportunity
Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring for seasonal Wranglers to join our team at Shenandoah National Park, Virginia. As a Wrangler, you will support the team at Skyland lodging in planning and coordinating activities for our guests.

What will you do?
- Organize horseback riding and other recreation activities for guests
- Lead hour-long trail rides up to six times each shift
- Provide directions to local attractions within the National Park and attend to any queries guests may have about their planned horseback riding journey
- Groom, feed, tack, and care for horses
- Maintain the proper sanitation and safety procedures in the working environment
More about you
- No high school diploma or GED required
- Proficiency in riding, grooming, feeding, and handling horses is required
- Previous customer service experience required
- Previous cash handling and point-of-sale experience required
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
Physical requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for entire length of shift
- Ability to work outside for most of shift in all weather conditions.
