Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles with manual transmissions to transport medical items efficiently across designated routes
- Load and unload shipments using forklifts or pallet jacks, ensuring proper handling of sensitive materials
- Deliver medical specimens, supplies, and equipment to healthcare facilities while adhering to strict timing schedules
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery confirmations for compliance purposes
- Communicate professionally with clients and healthcare staff during deliveries to ensure smooth coordination
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance checks to ensure vehicle safety and readiness
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to uphold a high standard of safety on every trip
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, liability insurance
- No more than 3 violations in 3 years and no DUI in 5 years. Pass background check. Drug screening depending on client.
- Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients.
