Assistant Station Leader – Operations - Queens, NY
Pay: $80,000 – $85,000 per year Monthly Performance Bonus

SkyHop Global is seeking a driven, experienced Assistant Station Leader to oversee daily operations and lead a high-performing team of 35 employees at our Queens, NY station. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on people, performance, and process—not sales.

What You’ll Do
- Lead daily operations across multiple shifts to ensure schedules are met, teams are aligned, and safety standards are upheld.
- Supervise, coach, and develop a diverse staff of 25 employees, promoting teamwork, professionalism, and accountability.
- Recruit, hire, and onboard new team members in partnership with HR and senior leadership.
- Monitor performance metrics, implement process improvements, and ensure station goals are consistently met or exceeded.
- Partner with the Station Leader on station P&L management, labor control, and overall operational efficiency.
- Drive compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and customer service expectations.
- Foster strong relationships with airline clients, crew members, and internal teams through communication and problem-solving.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience supervising medium-to-large teams (25 employees).
- Proven ability to hire, coach, discipline, and develop staff to achieve measurable results.
- Strong understanding of staffing, scheduling, and operational execution.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with scheduling or dispatch systems a plus.
- Open availability to support a 24/7/365 business, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
