Software Quality Assurance Analyst II

What are important things that YOU need to know about this role?

• Experience: The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of manual testing experience and a strong foundation in SQL.
• Work Location: This position offers permanent remote work. However, preference will be given to candidates who are local and able to work onsite at our Mequon office at least two days per week.

What will YOU be doing for us? Develop quality assurance processes and procedures that will ensure that design requirements are satisfied, the solution operates as expected, and the needs of stakeholders are met.

What will YOU be working on every day?

• Develop quality assurance procedures designed to test programs per corporate and client requirements.
• Utilize systems analysis techniques and quality assurance procedures, test new or modified software programs and software development procedures.
• Collect data and use quantitative or statistical analysis techniques and reporting methodologies to interpret results and assess underlying factors for reconciling variations.
• Communicate test findings and feedback to appropriate parties to ensure programs function according to use requirements and established guidelines.
• Construct and maintain tools utilized in quality assurance procedures such as automated test scripts, test servers, and associated databases to allow for observation and management of data relationships in a Windows environment.
• Participate in quality assurance testing by documenting and maintaining test procedures.

What qualifications do YOU need to have to be GOOD candidate?

• Required Level of Education, Licenses, and/or Certificates
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or other equivalent work experience.
• Required Level of Experience
  • Typically 2 to 4 years of experience with quality assurance in a technology environment or advanced experience as a user with the enterprise system
• Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Knowledge of software used to collect, manipulate, manage and analyze data.
  • Knowledge of the following software:
    • SQL Server
    • Microsoft Visual Studio/Test Manager or comparable testing tools
    • Microsoft Office Professional Edition
  • High attention to detail.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Intermediate skill in Microsoft Office products.

    • Enterprise level incident management tools
    • Enterprise level source code management tools.

The salary range and midpoint is listed below for your reference. Please keep in mind that your education and experience along with your knowledge, skills and abilities are taken into consideration when determining placement within the range.

Compensation Range: $75,080 - $112,621

Compensation Midpoint: $93,851
