Job Summary:

Skye's Janitorial is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Janitorial Team Lead to oversee cleaning and maintenance operations at assigned facilities. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a commitment to high cleaning standards, and the ability to manage a team efficiently. This role ensures that all janitorial duties are performed to client satisfaction while maintaining compliance with company policies and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in day-to-day cleaning duties alongside the team
• Lead by example in professionalism, punctuality, and quality
• Perform walk-throughs to ensure cleaning standards are met
• Report supply needs, equipment issues, or site concerns to the Supervisor
• Provide guidance and support to team members during shifts
• Train new hires on on-site procedures and expectations
• Communicate client concerns or special requests to the Supervisor
• Ensure all safety procedures are followed by the team
• Help maintain positive team morale and resolve minor conflicts when needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in janitorial services preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of janitorial or custodial experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation to various job sites.
