Product Operations Engineer

About The Role

You will work closely with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, Customer Success Managers, Hardware Program Managers, Sales, and our Legal and Regulatory teams, to help launch and ensure the success of new products and features across a wide range of applications into global and domestic markets. The ideal candidate brings a technical background combined with strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across domains. In this role, they would both drive company-wide process and organization improvements while getting short term projects across the line.

Location

This position is based onsite at our HQ in San Mateo, CA (4 days onsite with 1 day flexible).

How You'll Make An Impact

• Own the rollout of major feature releases and new product launches
• Work closely with technical leadership to shape the strategy and execution of releases for Skydio’s cloud product lines
• Maintain and improve the feedback loop for new product features, helping to provide prioritization within the product roadmap
• Collaborate with key team members (engineering, product, marketing, policy, support, design) to ensure pre and post launch success
• Work closely with product managers to develop metrics and dashboards to track product success
  
  
  

What Would Make You a Strong Fit

• 1 years of proven success in a similar role, driving successful operational programs within R&D at a high-growth company
• Technical degree or background
• Experience with product development (experience as a SWE a major plus)
• Detail-oriented with exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Highly motivated and highly curious, with an eagerness to learn and grow
• Familiarity with business systems and tools (e.g., JIRA, Slack, Confluence, Salesforce)

Compensation: At Skydio, our compensation packages for regular, full-time employees include competitive base salaries, equity in the form of stock options, and comprehensive benefits packages. Compensation will vary based on factors, including skill level, proficiencies, transferable knowledge, and experience. Relocation assistance may also be provided for eligible roles. The annual base salary range for this position is $125,000 - $160,000*.
