Description: Skycrest Child Development Center is looking to hire a full-time preschool teacher. Desired traits are: positive, dependable, flexible, caring, happy individual that works well with children, and a good "team player." We are a small Christian preschool located in Clearwater, and we have a great staff of experienced teachers. Duties include, but are not limited to: supervising a classroom of 8-15 children, teaching the curriculum provided, supervising both classroom and playground activities, assisting with the administration of snack and lunch to the children, occasionally interacting with parents, and performing other duties as needed. Applicant is expected to pass a level 2 background screening and provide references. 40-Clock Hour Training, CDA, or higher preferred. Benefits include: paid holidays, sick time, and vacation accrual (following 90-day probationary period).

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Supervise and engage with a classroom of 8-15 children Teach from provided curriculum supervise classroom, playground, and rest-time activities (depending on age level) assist with distribution of snack and lunch to the children interact with parents as needed assist children with developmentally-appropriate skills as needed other duties as assigned
Work Schedule: Part-time teacher will work between 15-25 hours per week. Hourly rate based on experience. The job is expected to be performed in-office during business hours.
Full-time teacher will work between 32-40 hours per week. Hourly rate based on experience. The job is expected to be performed in-office during business hours.
Working Relationship: The teacher is directly accountable to the preschool director.
