Catering Delivery Driver
DESCRIPTION OF MAIN JOB DUTIES:
Responsible for all aspects of catering up to and including :
- Check catering equipment and food items for delivering of final product to airlines.
- Loading and unloading airline equipment on/off the truck
- Driving the truck to the Aircraft
- Loading aircraft galleys according to customer guidelines
- Placing dirty equipment and trash in designated area.
- other duties assigned by management. (Complete airline trolleys carriers, built soda, water and equipment drawers, organize station Areas.)
- Interface with Flight Attendants while displaying outstanding customer service skills
- Interact with other team members to solve problems and resolve issues
- Maintain effective communication between management and the airline customer
- To work as a member of the team and ensure the highest quality products are delivered to our airline customers
JOB SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a valid Drivers License with a safe driving record
- Must consent to a Drug test and Physical
- Must be able to pass a 10-year FBI criminal background check to obtain airport SIDA/AOA badge
- Must be flexible to work in a 24/7 environment which includes nights, weekends and holidays which is subject to change due to shift bidding
- Must follow all Ramp, and AOA, Safety and Security Rules and Regulations
- Must have the ability to push up to 70lbs with the use of rolling carts and lift to 30lbs
- Must be able to use fingers & hands to handle equipment o Ability to interpret and comprehend Menu and Flight Galley Specifications
- Must successfully complete on-the-job driver training program
- Must possess interpersonal, communication and customer service skills with a professional appearance and attitude
- Must possess basic math skills
- Must be able to apply safety standards
- Must be able to use mobile shelving, carts, ramps, and related airline catering equipment
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Must be able to work in extreme heat and/or cold environment
- Must be able to walk/stoop/ bend/ stand for entire work shift Must have good organizational skills and adaptable to frequent changes
Shift Availability required: We are a 24/7 operation. Schedule may include Saturday/Sundays and Holidays. Shift times will vary based on the current shift bid.
