What are the responsibilities and job description for the Arline Food and Equipment Coordinator position at SkyChefs?
Coordinators
pick up the flight schedules for specific airline from dispatch, look/collect
Final information count to include flight number, type of aircraft,
configuration and type of service. locate flights and final/pack specific
items on the meal carts. Add/check ice cream, condiments, hot entrée, check
special meals, crew, flight completion and temperature taking before
finalizing flight. Identify all discrepancies, inform supervisor and ensure
that all missing items are placed on the flight. Communicate any problems
with the flight to dispatch. Hand over Flight to Flight crew out on the AOA,
and perform additional duties as needed. Must be able to read, speak and
write English and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Accurate, organized, thorough, pays
attention to detail, need to understand and interpret Airline SITA
telexes. Must possess a Valid
Driver’s License; be able to obtain an LAX AOA Driver Seal, Customs Seal.
Must have strong mathematical skills, must be able to interact with all
levels of employees. Must be able to
lift 50 pounds, must be able to perform duties in cooler location, Must be
self-directed and be able to work with little supervision, must be able to
work under pressure. Must be flexible
