Position Overview
You will be the FACO Production Avionics, F-16 Technician for the Greenville Production Final Assembly and Checkout Team. The team is responsible for Final Assembly and Checkout functions to include installs of electrical harnesses and wires, continuity testing, system testing, and soldering and termination operations.
What You Will Be Doing
As the FACO Production Avionics, F-16 Technician, you will be responsible for testing and installing electrical harnesses and components, routing various wires and cables, terminating cables and wires, and performing operational checks. You may also be required to troubleshoot and repair electrical and avionics systems based on the assigned area. Additional responsibilities may include general mechanic installs, testing, and inspections.
Requirements
Fighter aircraft experience is preferred but not required. Heavy electrical and modification experience is accepted.
Avionics and harness modification experience is required.
Clearance is not required to start but is a plus if active.
- 6 years of solid electrical or avionics experience
- Will consider candidates with 4 years of recent aircraft experience if they have relevant fighter aircraft experience
- Aircraft avionics electrical modification and harness modification experience preferred
- Minimum 4 years of recent soldering experience required and must be able to pass soldering test and training
- Ability to read and interpret wire harness prints
- Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnosis experience
- Must be able to work any shift based on program needs
Shift Options
Must be able to work 1st, 2nd, or weekend shift. Final shift is assigned after training based on team need
1st Shift Mon thru Thurs 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
2nd Shift Mon thru Thurs 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM
Weekend Shift Thurs thru Sun 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Start Date: 4/20/2026
Security Clearance: Secret preferred but not required to start
Candidates must be eligible to obtain a clearance and will begin the process upon offer acceptance
Worksite: Onsite full time
Skills Required
- Avionics Testing preferred with 4 to 6 years of experience
- Electrical Troubleshooting required with 6 years of experience
- Technical Skills
- Electrical Diagnosis and Repair preferred with 4 to 6 years of experience
- Wire Harness Print Reading preferred with 4 to 6 years of experience
