Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and personable Bartender to join our hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and quality standards
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner to enhance the overall dining and bar experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of bar ingredients, including liquor, beer, wine, and garnishes
- Accurately process orders and handle cash or POS transactions efficiently
- Support service staff during busy periods by managing drink flow and assisting with table service as needed
- Operate bar equipment safely and efficiently, including shakers, glassware, and draft systems
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and comply with all local and state alcohol service regulations
- Assist with bar setup, breakdown, and inventory management
- Support private events, catering functions, or special occasions as required
Experience
- Previous bartending or bar service experience preferred (1 year or more)
- Experience in craft cocktails, high-volume service, or fine dining environments is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of spirits, beer, wine, and classic cocktail recipes
- Understanding of responsible alcohol service and local liquor laws
- Excellent multitasking skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced hospitality setting
- Restaurant or nightlife experience demonstrating professionalism and reliability
