Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverages according to company standards and safety regulations.
• Operate the cash register efficiently for order processing and payment transactions.
• Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the café, including food prep areas, dining spaces, and restocking supplies.
• Assist with food prep tasks such as assembling menu items, ensuring quality control, and following food safety protocols.
• Support the team with general duties like stocking shelves, cleaning workstations, and keeping the environment safe for guests and staff.
• Work collaboratively to ensure smooth operations during busy periods while keeping a friendly, energetic demeanor.

Requirements

• Food Handler certification required.
• Experience in food service, quick-service, or fast-food environments preferred, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are essential.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
• Familiarity with POS systems.
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication.
• Basic math skills for order calculations and quick register operations.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and safety protocols.
• Experience in culinary or kitchen settings is a plus, but on-the-job learning is supported and encouraged.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.90 per hour
