Position Overview

Sky Zone Happy Valley is looking for an energetic and experienced Assistant General Manager to support the daily operation of the park. This position works closely with the General Manager to lead the team, improve sales, control labor, and create a safe and memorable experience for every guest.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable coaching employees, solving problems, and staying actively involved on the park floor.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager with all daily park operations
• Lead managers, shift leads, and team members during assigned shifts
• Maintain a strong leadership presence throughout the park
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members
• Create schedules and adjust staffing based on business needs
• Monitor labor expenses and help the park meet its labor goals
• Drive membership sales, birthday parties, group events, and overall revenue
• Review daily sales, attendance, labor, and membership results
• Ensure guests receive friendly, fast, and professional service
• Respond to guest concerns and resolve issues appropriately
• Maintain Sky Zone’s safety, cleanliness, and operational standards
• Ensure all activity areas are properly staffed and supervised
• Support birthday party and event execution
• Oversee cash handling, deposits, opening, and closing procedures
• Assist with inventory, ordering, and cost controls
• Complete required reports, inspections, and operational audits
• Enforce company policies and provide corrective coaching when necessary
• Serve as Acting General Manager when the General Manager is unavailable

Qualifications

• At least two years of management or supervisory experience
• Experience in entertainment, hospitality, retail, food service, or a similar high-volume business is preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience managing schedules, labor, sales, and employee performance
• Ability to coach employees and hold the team accountable
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment
• Basic computer, email, scheduling, and reporting skills
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds when needed
