Job Summary
We are seeking a responsible, caring, and professional tutor or youth educator to support our son during the after-school hours. Our son will be entering high school in the upcoming school year, and we are looking for someone who can provide structured academic support as well as positive companionship during the evening routine.
Responsibilities
- Provide homework guidance and academic support
- Supervise and accompany evening activities such as reading, studying, or quiet learning
- Encourage light physical activity or exercise when appropriate
- Assist with dinner time and help establish healthy routines
- Offer calm companionship before bedtime
Requirements
- Proven experience as a tutor, educator, or youth mentor, preferably with high school-aged students
- Strong academic background and ability to teach or guide effectively across subjects
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, patience, and professionalism
- Ability to create a structured, positive, and intellectually stimulating environment
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record required
- References and background checks will be required
Compensation
- Negotiable, based on experience.
