Technician 2 – Truck Experience
Location: Auburn Hills, Michigan (initial location; may change during the assignment)
Project Duration: Approximately 6–8 weeks
Expected Start Date: Within the next 1–2 weeks
Work Schedule: Approximately 40 hours per week
Pay Rate: $28.00/hour per hour on 1099
Per Diem: $50/day when travel is required
Job Summary
We are seeking a technician 2 with previous truck experience to support a short-term automotive project initially based in Auburn Hills, Michigan. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with trucks, strong technical skills, and the flexibility to travel to different project locations as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform assigned technical tasks involving trucks and related automotive systems.
- Assist with inspections, troubleshooting, and technical evaluations as required by the project.
- Identify and report technical issues or defects.
- Follow established procedures, safety guidelines, and project instructions.
- Communicate findings and updates to the project team.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed.
- Travel to different project locations as required.
Qualifications
- Approximately 3–5 years of relevant technical experience preferred.
- Previous hands-on experience working on trucks is required.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to follow technical instructions and safety procedures.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel as project locations change.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
