Title: Test Engineer – Data Platform & Pipelines

Overview
We are seeking a Test Engineer / QA Analyst to validate cloud-based data pipelines, curated datasets, and platform components. This role focuses on verifying data accuracy, functional requirements, integration points, and system performance across the enterprise data platform.
Responsibilities:
- Develop test plans, scenarios, and cases for data pipelines and transformations.
- Validate ingestion, transformation logic, and data outputs across curated products.
- Perform regression, integration, and UAT testing.
- Verify data quality rules, lineage, and mappings.
- Document defects and track them through resolution.
- Use SQL and analytical tools to validate pipeline outputs.
- Support automation of data quality or validation tests.
- Work closely with Data Engineers and Analysts during release cycles.
Required Qualifications:
- 3 years of software testing or QA experience, preferably in data engineering environments.
- Strong SQL skills and ability to analyze large datasets.
- Experience testing data pipelines (ETL/ELT, API integrations, batch, or streaming).
- Experience writing test plans and documentation.
- Strong understanding of data validation, lineage, and quality.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with AWS, Snowflake, or Airflow testing.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with dbt test frameworks.
- Experience supporting Agile delivery environments.
