Sky Schedule is a modern flight school management and operating system designed to simplify and streamline aviation training operations. The platform allows flight schools to manage scheduling, billing, aircraft usage, instructors, and student workflows in one clean, integrated system.

Built in close collaboration with flight schools and aviation professionals across the United States, Sky Schedule was created to solve a clear problem in the industry: outdated, expensive, and inefficient software that slows schools down. Our mission is to bring aviation software into a new era of simplicity, speed, and reliability.

This is an opportunity to join Sky Schedule at an early stage, work directly with the founder, and help scale a product that is already gaining strong traction and real customer adoption across the aviation industry.


About the Role


We are looking for a Sales Manager to help lead and scale sales efforts for Sky Schedule. This role is ideal for a CFI, pilot, or aviation professional who understands how flight schools operate and enjoys building real relationships with owners, chief instructors, and decision makers.

You will be responsible for owning the sales process end to end. This includes outbound and inbound conversations, demos, follow-ups, and helping shape how Sky Schedule is positioned and sold across different types of flight schools.

You will work closely with the founder, have direct influence on product feedback, and play a key role in shaping how Sky Schedule grows across the industry.


Responsibilities


  • Lead sales conversations with flight school owners, managers, and instructors
  • Run product demos and guide prospects through the Sky Schedule platform
  • Manage and grow a sales pipeline from first contact through close
  • Follow up with inbound leads and conduct outbound outreach to targeted schools
  • Provide structured feedback to the product team based on real customer conversations
  • Help define sales processes, messaging, and go-to-market strategy as the company scales


Who You Are


  • A current or former CFI, pilot, or aviation professional preferred
  • Comfortable talking to flight school owners and operational decision makers
  • Strong communicator who can clearly explain value and workflows
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working in an early-stage startup environment
  • Organized, follow-through driven, and accountable
  • Open to learning SaaS sales if coming from an aviation-first background


Previous SaaS sales experience is a plus, but aviation knowledge and credibility matter more.


Compensation


  • Commission-based compensation with 50% paid at signing
  • Vesting Equity based on performance and contribution
  • Opportunity to grow into a senior leadership role as the company scales
  • Direct access to the founder and influence over product direction


Location


San Diego is preferred, but we support remote work for the right candidate.
