The Manager, Transportation & Parking Services is responsible for managing all aspects of parking and transportation operations at the property while ensuring the highest levels of safety for employees, guests, and visitors.
- Upholds and complies within established standards all times.
- Manages the departmental performance, and the accuracy, confidentiality, and thoroughness of departmental policies and procedures, records, and reports.
- Monitors all activities of the department to ensure that all applicable internal policies, federal and state laws, rules, regulations, and controls property wide are enforced.
- Ensures department delivers and maintains a maximum level of property-wide service and satisfaction.
- Responsible for hiring, performance management, and employee engagement within the department. Provides training opportunities, constructive and positive feedback to team members within area of responsibility. Creates a motivating environment.
- Keeps informed of all new developments within the department and makes recommendations designed to maximize department and company success.
- Effectively manages internal and external guest relations, which will require levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy. Responsible for addressing guest and team member issues as appropriate.
- Manages multiple priorities simultaneously and meets deadlines, often in stressful and high-pressure situations.
- Must have the ability to promote positive, fair, and ethical relations with all team members, guests, and visitors.
- Manages parking operations both on-site and off-site for both team members and guests, including pricing and payment strategy.
- Responsible for shuttle services between the property and remote parking locations for both employees and guests.
- Coordinates express and community motor coach services (park and ride) per license agreement commitments
- Coordinates all rides share and taxi programs including staging, pick up areas, and employee parking programs.
- Reviews all traffic related communication with team members, guests, community, and local law enforcement. Keeps updated, real-time, on all road related traffic issues; makes recommendations for improvements.
- Implements transportation strategy for all large-scale events on property, including police detail support and communication plans.
- Ensures all airport related transfers.
- Designs transportation communication strategy, including real-time updates, and coordinates with brand marketing to effectively implement.
- Works with safety as a priority and follows department and company safety standards.
- Maintains relevant knowledge of industry through continuing education and training.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field; or equivalent experience Preferred.
- 5 years of transportation services experience required, 2 years in a supervisory capacity preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Previous experience with planning and project management
