What are the responsibilities and job description for the Print Specialist position at Sky Printing (Hilltop MGMT)?
Sky Printing has an opening for a full-time, entry-level print shop assistant! We are a small business serving the West Seattle community and beyond, and we’re excited to welcome someone to our small, tight-knit team. This would be a great position for recent graduates or anyone looking to build their resume and learn real-world graphic design skills.
Ideal candidates will:
- Enjoy interacting with customers in our community in-store, over the phone, through email, and through our website to realize their print and design projects
- Have excellent customer service and communication skills
- Have some graphic design experience
- Have a good working knowledge of Adobe design products and Microsoft products
- Have a sharp eye for detail
- Thrive on multi-tasking
- Be willing to learn the ins and outs of printing
- Be located in or near West Seattle
A typical day will involve:
- Helping walk-in and online customers print music gig posters, educational booklets, wedding signage, and everything in between
- Answering general questions about our services via email/phone
- Providing quotes to customers looking to print
- Communicating with customers about their orders
- Handling orders with our vendors
Some other things you might do:
- Designing business cards, ads, and more for our customers
- Occasional housekeeping for our Wordpress website
Compensation for this position is $21-$22/hour depending on experience. You will have steady working hours (9am – 5pm Monday through Friday), with the option to pick up more hours on Saturdays (10am – 2pm). We're looking for someone who'll join us for the mid- to long-term.
