Sky Limit Systems is partnering with a forward-thinking aerospace manufacturer that’s investing in people, process, and technology — and we’re helping them find a Production Manager who’s ready to lead with precision and purpose.
This role reports directly to the Operations Director and oversees day-to-day production across key product lines. It’s an opportunity for a driven leader who thrives on solving challenges, building teams, and driving continuous improvement in a growing, dynamic environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors and technicians to achieve safety, quality, and delivery goals
- Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure schedule adherence and throughput targets are met
- Drive Lean and 5S initiatives to improve flow, reduce waste, and increase efficiency
- Partner closely with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to resolve bottlenecks and align priorities
- Use data and KPIs (OEE, scrap, downtime, labor utilization) to identify and execute process improvements
- Manage staffing, training, and resource planning to support production demand
- Champion a culture of accountability, engagement, and operational excellence
What We’re Looking For:
- 5 years of experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing, including leadership of production teams
- Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing principles, standard work, and continuous improvement
- Proven ability to manage schedules, resources, and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with ERP systems and production metrics tracking
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- A hands-on leader who leads by example and brings energy, focus, and structure to the floor
