We’re looking for a Wind Tunnel Model Design Stress Engineer who’s passionate about mechanical design, stress analysis, and contributing to the future of aerospace technology.
Responsibilities:
- Design detailed wind tunnel test models using 3D CAD software.
- Perform strength, stress, and structural analyses using Nastran, Femap, and Advance Sim.
- Ensure design integrity, safety, and compliance with AS9100D standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and testing teams to support model development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering.
- 5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in aerospace.
- Proficiency in Siemens NX or similar 3D design software.
- U.S. citizenship or Permanent Residency (per ITAR); DOD Clearance preferred.
