As a Restoration Technician, you will play a vital role in responding swiftly to emergency situations, performing cleaning and restoration services, and ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed. Duties
- Respond promptly to emergency calls for water damage, fire damage, flood, mold remediation, and other disaster scenarios.
- Perform cleaning tasks including carpet cleaning, debris removal, and sanitation to prepare sites for restoration.
- Conduct fire and flood restoration activities using specialized equipment such as power tools, hand tools, and Xactimate estimating software.
- Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly during job assignments and on-call coverage shifts.
- Apply personal protective equipment (PPE) such as respiratory protection and adhere strictly to safety protocols during all operations.
- Assist with construction-related tasks including minor repairs, demolition, or structural assessments as needed.
- Use technical skills in mold remediation, asbestos abatement, and water extraction techniques to restore properties efficiently.
- Maintain clear communication with clients by providing excellent customer service throughout the restoration process.
- Document work performed accurately using industry-standard tools and software like Xactimate for estimating costs.
- Support team efforts by maintaining a clean work environment and properly handling all cleaning supplies and restoration equipment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the restoration industry or related construction fields is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of water damage restoration, fire restoration, flood recovery, mold remediation, asbestos abatement, and related procedures is a plus.
- Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations with emergency response readiness skills.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, carpet cleaning equipment, and Xactimate software is advantageous.
- Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence including PPE use and respiratory protection practices.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude when interacting with clients during stressful situations.
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles safely; a clean driving record is preferred.
- Physical ability to perform strenuous tasks such as lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, or working in confined spaces for extended periods.
- Willingness to participate in on-call coverage schedules to respond after hours or during weekends as needed.

Pay: $24.95 - $30.05 per hour
