Job Summary
SKY 3PL LOGISTICS is looking for a dependable and safety-conscious Reach Truck & Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team.
This position is primarily responsible for operating reach trucks and forklifts to move merchandise, cases, and pallets throughout the warehouse. The role also includes loading and unloading shipments, replenishing inventory, performing cycle counts, and supporting general warehouse operations.
The ideal candidate has previous warehouse equipment experience, works carefully and efficiently, and pays close attention to inventory locations and warehouse safety.
Responsibilities
- Operate reach trucks and forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Pick and move cases and pallets throughout the warehouse.
- Move merchandise to the appropriate warehouse and inventory locations.
- Load and unload pallets from incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Assist with loading and unloading containers.
- Replenish inventory and warehouse picking locations.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Organize pallets and merchandise within the warehouse.
- Assist with receiving and shipping operations as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow warehouse procedures and equipment safety requirements.
- Assist with other warehouse and inventory-related duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating a reach truck and/or forklift is strongly preferred.
- Previous warehouse, distribution, shipping, receiving, or inventory experience is preferred.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and responsibly.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good organizational skills.
- Dependable and punctual.
- Ability to follow instructions and warehouse safety procedures.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Ability to stand, move, and perform physical warehouse duties throughout the workday.
- Ability to safely lift and move boxes, cases, and warehouse merchandise.
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
