Gas Attendant / Cashier
Full-Time & Part-Time Positions Available
Starting Pay: $15.92 per hour
We are a freshly opened gas station and convenience store under new ownership, and we are looking for reliable, friendly, and motivated individuals to join our team as Gas Attendants / Cashiers.
No previous experience is required. We are willing to train the right candidates.
Available Shifts
● Morning: 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM
● Afternoon: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
● Evening/Night: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
● Sunday: Store closes at 9:00 PM
Both full-time and part-time positions are available.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
● Pumping gas and providing friendly customer service
● Washing customers’ windows while fueling their vehicles
● Operating the cash register and processing customer transactions
● Selling and processing lottery tickets
● Checking identification for age-restricted purchases, including tobacco and lottery products
● Stocking shelves, coolers, and other store merchandise
● Maintaining a clean and organized store
● Cleaning the sales floor, bathrooms, fueling areas, and other areas of the property
● Preparing and maintaining coffee and food service areas
● Assisting customers with questions and requests
● Following all company policies and procedures
● Following all age-verification and ID-checking requirements
● Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for customers and coworkers
● Performing other general gas station and convenience store duties as needed
Qualifications
● Must be 18 years of age or older
● No previous experience required
● Reliable and punctual
● Clean and professional appearance
● Positive and respectful attitude toward customers and coworkers
● Good communication and customer-service skills
● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
● Ability to follow instructions and company policies
● Must be willing to properly check IDs and follow all rules regarding age-restricted products
● Must be dependable and work assigned shifts as scheduled
