Job Title: Host / Hostess/ Server Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and organized Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests. This role is key to creating a welcoming atmosphere, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth front-of-house operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests promptly with a warm and welcoming attitude
- Manage reservations, waitlists, and table assignments efficiently
- Escort guests to tables and provide menus
- Maintain clear communication with servers and management regarding table status
- Answer phone calls and assist with guest inquiries
- Ensure the host stand and entrance area remain clean and organized
- Monitor dining room flow to optimize seating and guest experience
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Previous restaurant experience preferred but not required
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced restaurant setting
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
