Role Description The Corporate Paralegal will support business attorneys with contract drafting and management. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and reviewing agreements (such as non-disclosure agreements and engagement letters), organizing and maintaining client files, and managing files and deadlines. The role also involves assisting with due diligence, coordinating signatures and filings, and communicating with clients, opposing counsel, and external parties in a professional manner. This is a fast-paced role, requiring keen attention to detail and same-day document review. This is a full-time and remote role.
Qualifications
- Experience drafting, formatting, and organizing contracts, corporate records, and transaction documents.
- Ability to review documents on a same-day basis.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, attorneys, and third parties.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational and time-management abilities, and capacity to manage multiple matters in a deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency with standard office software and legal practice tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, PDF tools, document management systems).
- Prior law firm or in-house corporate paralegal experience preferred, especially in business transactions.
- Paralegal certificate and/or associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
