Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Naturopathic Doctor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in naturopathic medicine and a passion for functional medicine. As a Naturopathic Doctor at our clinic, you will work closely with patients to develop individualized treatment plans, incorporating natural therapies and lifestyle modifications to achieve optimal health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Care:

Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, including detailed health histories and physical examinations.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on the principles of naturopathic and functional medicine.
• Utilize a variety of natural therapies, including botanical medicine, nutrition, homeopathy, and lifestyle counseling.
• Monitor and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure the best possible outcomes.
• Collaboration:
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare practitioners, including medical doctors, nutritionists, and therapists, to provide integrated care.
• Participate in case discussions and contribute to the development of comprehensive care strategies.
• Patient Education:
• Educate patients about their health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
• Provide guidance on nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle changes to support overall wellness.
• Clinical Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with clinic policies and legal requirements.
• Stay current with advancements in naturopathic and functional medicine through continuous education and professional development.
• Administrative Duties:
• Assist in the development of clinic protocols and procedures.
• Participate in marketing and outreach efforts to promote the clinic and its services.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (ND) degree from an accredited naturopathic medical school.
• Current licensure to practice naturopathic medicine in California.
• Proven experience in a clinical setting, preferably within a functional medicine or integrative health practice.
• Strong understanding of functional medicine principles and the ability to apply them in patient care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification or additional training in functional medicine.
• Experience with advanced diagnostic tools and laboratory testing.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
