Job Summary
We are hiring a Fabrication Technician for a client in Fayetteville. This role involves cutting, welding, forming, and assembling metal components to engineering specifications in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities
Fabricate and assemble components using welders, plasma cutters, press brakes, saws, and other fabrication equipment
Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to produce accurate parts
Perform MIG welding on mild steel and other materials as required
Set up, operate, and maintain fabrication machinery and tooling
Inspect and measure finished parts to ensure compliance with quality specifications
Work collaboratively with the production team to meet daily output goals
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with company safety policies
Identify opportunities to improve fabrication processes and product quality
Assist with material handling, including loading/unloading steel, parts, and assemblies
Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and report any maintenance needs
Must Haves
Experience in metal fabrication, welding, or mechanical assembly
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements
Proficient in MIG welding and basic metalworking techniques
Comfortable operating fabrication tools and equipment safely
Strong attention to detail and quality
Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for long periods
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
Preferred Skills
Formal welding or fabrication certification
Experience in a manufacturing or heavy-equipment environment
Forklift certification or material-handling experience
Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices
