Wastewater Repair Technician

We are seeking a reliable, hard-working Repair Technician to join our growing company. The Repair Technician will be part of a crew installing septic systems and performing repairs with a small team, or solo. Experience with wastewater systems is not required for this position but is certainly a plus. The ideal candidate will have general construction experience and ability to operate small machinery (skid steers, mini excavators, etc.). This position has long-term potential and opportunity for growth. Pay is commensurate with experience.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• The ability to lift heavy objects (65 lbs)
• Experience with operating equipment (skid steers, mini excavators, etc.)
• The ability to follow directions of superiors (lead installers, project managers, president)
• Ability to read blueprints
• Work well with other team members
• Have a great work ethic

Duties:

Installing Septic Systems, performing sewer repairs and other small septic repairs. Duties include:

• Plumbing inlet and outlet lines
• Reading and understanding blueprints
• Using and laser and transit
• Raking, grading, spreading topsoil
• Repairing septic and sewer piping
• Replacing distribution boxes
• Completing some repairs with a mini excavator
• Operating a small track loader on sites
• Safely operating and towing small equipment
• Completing work orders on company issues iPad

Compensation:

• $22-$26 per hour, commensurate with experience
• Health/Dental/Vision Insurance (after 90 days)
