Sewer and Drain Technician

Skips Wastewater Services is the leading full-service wastewater provider that specializes in septic tank and grease trap pumping, septic system repair and installations, septic inspections, and more. Duties

• Provide solutions to customers experiencing interior and exterior drainage issues
• Daily maintenance of company equipment
• Jetting sewer lines to clear blockages
• Investigating blockages in septic system components
• Engage with customers in a kind and respectful manner
• Complete routine maintenance checks for commercial customers
• Utilize camera technology to troubleshoot backups and evaluate piping
• Provide solutions to the work evaluated
• Complete all repair work effectively and professionally
• Proper cleanup and restoration of work area inside and outside of each property
• Complete work-order on company issued iPad; document duties performed in writing and with pictures and videos
• Follow up with co-workers throughout and at the end of each day

Requirements

• Drain cleaning and/or extensive plumbing experience required.
• A valid driver's license
• Effective communication skills.
• A mechanical aptitude
• The ability to follow directions of superiors
• Hardworking, self-starter

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Sewer and Drain Technician to join our growing Skips Wastewater Sewer and Drain Division. The Technician will handle routine or emergency service calls and provide solutions for sewer and drain problems. The technician will also be responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing residential and light commercial pump chambers and grease traps. We've established ourselves as leaders in the drain cleaning industry, and are excited to find a dedicated, hardworking technician to expand this division with us. Skips has invested in some of the most up-to-date sewer and drain technology to stay efficient and offer the services our customers need. All routing and work orders are done through our CRM with technicians using company issued iPads. We are looking for applicants with a background in plumbing and/or drain cleaning but will train the right individuals. Come work with the very best in the industry!
