We are looking for those who are already certified or those willing to become certified.
We are open Monday-Friday 9am to 6pm and Saturday 9am to 3pm

- Candidates with experience in the following areas are encouraged to apply: Teacher, nanny, social worker, nurse, school or camp counselor, childcare, teacher’s aide, coach, child psychologist, special education, paraprofessional, daycare teacher and other similar fields. We can help you become a certified behavior therapist if you are not already.
RBT/BHT/CBT Job Description:
Work with children with autism or other developmental challenges by providing high quality ABA therapy and implementing the child’s individualized treatment plan under the direction, supervision and guidance of a BCBA.
You will be fully trained and supported by an experienced team of Clinical Directors, clinical supervisors, and mentors who are invested in your personal and professional growth.
Responsibilities:
- Provide ABA Therapy for children in a clinic setting .
- We believe in a healthy work life balance.
- Follow specific protocol for each client and implement individualized ABA programs as set by treatment plan and directed by BCBA or qualified health professional
- Review and remain up to date on changes in the behavior plans, treatment plans and other instructional materials developed by behavior analyst
- Document client sessions by recording data, writing quality session notes, and inputting timesheets
- Develop strong rapport with the client and family
- Participate in supervision sessions and team meetings
- Complete training and competency necessary to obtain RBT certification
- Maintain appropriate professional conduct and boundaries at all times, client confidentiality, and ensure timely communication with families and other members of the clinical team.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures of Skipping Stones
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT/BHT) Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 years of age
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Background screening and clearance
- Current driver’s license in state of residence
- Ability to complete job’s physical demands such as lifting children up to 30 lbs, frequent sitting and standing, kneeling, and running with children
- Completion of Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certificate (preferred), or willingness to enroll and complete RBT coursework within the first 30 days of job offer.
- Bachelor’s Degree, or near completion of a bachelor’s degree in related field is preferred but not required
- Strong verbal and written communication, time management and organizational skills, problem-solving
- Well organized, flexible, and open to hearing feedback
- Completion of all training requirements outlined in the New Hire Checklist (provided by Skipping Stones) and RBT training checklist . (Required trainings vary by state, and is regulated by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board)
- Proven ability to work effectively with people from a variety of backgrounds
- Experience in working with individuals on the autism spectrum, or other developmental disabilities
- Verifiable work references
