Role Description The Front Desk Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in New York, NY, responsible for overseeing daily front desk operations and ensuring an exceptional client experience. This role manages appointment scheduling, check-in and check-out processes, and handles phone and email inquiries with professionalism and care. The Front Desk Manager maintains an organized reception area, supervises front desk team members, and supports staff in delivering smooth and efficient service. Additional responsibilities include coordinating reservations, processing payments, updating client records and collaborating with management to resolve issues and enhance customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with a focus on creating a welcoming environment.
- Experience with Receptionist Duties, such as greeting clients, managing front desk workflows, and handling inquiries.
- Excellent Communication abilities, both verbal and written, to interact confidently with clients and team members.
- Proficiency in managing Reservations and appointments using scheduling or booking systems.
- Previous experience in hospitality, spa, wellness, or medical office settings is preferred.
- Ability to lead and mentor front desk staff, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Comfort with basic computer applications, point-of-sale systems, and electronic client records.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, hospitality or a related field is a plus.
