About the Role
We are looking for a professional, client-focused Makeup Artist, you will be working with sales and front desk bookings. You must excel at both delivering exceptional beauty services and can achieve strong sales results. You’ll provide personalized makeup applications, consultations, and product recommendations while helping grow our retail sales and service bookings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver professional makeup artistry for clients (events, lessons, bridal, everyday looks)
- Provide expert beauty consultations and recommend products to meet client needs
- Drive retail sales of makeup, skincare, and related products
- Build and maintain a loyal client base through outstanding service
- Meet or exceed monthly sales and service goals
- Collaborate with the team to create a positive, high-energy environment
- Sell Services, Gift Cards and Services
- Book Appointments , Answer phone
- Greet clients
What We’re Looking For:
- Required: Professional experience as a Makeup Artist (license/certification preferred)
- Strongly Preferred: Previous sales experience in a department store cosmetics counter, retail beauty environment (e.g., Sephora, Ulta, Macy’s, Nordstrom), or similar – with a track record of meeting sales targets
- Excellent client service and communication skills – clients should love working with you
- Self-motivated with a positive, professional attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliable and punctual (consistent attendance is essential)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
- Passion for the beauty industry and staying current with trends and products
- Quick learner to learn and book appointments thru a Spa software
- Look the part Hair and Makeup done
