Front Desk / Skin Care Specialist

Skin Wellness Center, A premier dermatologic and cosmetic practice in Pinellas Park seeks an experienced Front Desk Medical Office Check-In/out team member with a background in Esthetics/skin care. This is a part-time position that has potential to expand into full-time.

We are a state of the art non-smoking facility with great working conditions and a team approach. Background check required for all new employees. Full-time benefits would include 401K, profit sharing, medical stipend , dental and vision, vacation and holiday pay.

Job Purpose:

Greeting patients, scheduling appointments; maintaining electronic records and accounts, becoming proficient in skin care product knowledge, and explaining cosmetic services offered.

Duties:

*Patient check-in and check-out

* Greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.

* Scheduling appointments in person or by telephone.

* Maintaining the reception area.

* Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal information. Recording and collecting patient charges.

* Product inventory, knowledge of cosmetic/esthetician services offered.

* Potential for hands-on experience with some cosmetic procedures

Skills/Qualifications:

Ability to Multi-task, Flexibility, Telephone Skills, Customer Service, PC Proficiency, Attention to Detail, Professionalism, Team player. Knowledge and experience with our EMR software Eclinical is a plus and having knowledge in Skin Care or an Esthetics would be an extra plus.
