Call Center Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Call Center Specialist to join our customer service team. As a Call Center Specialist, you will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls, assisting patients and healthcare providers, and ensuring accurate data entry while maintaining professional phone etiquette. Multilingual abilities and medical office experience are highly valued to enhance our service quality and reach a diverse client base.

Duties

• Respond promptly to incoming calls, providing clear and courteous assistance to patients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
• Utilize medical terminology accurately to address inquiries related to appointments, billing, or medical records.
• Maintain detailed and precise data entry in electronic health records and customer management systems.
• Follow established protocols to verify patient information, schedule appointments, or relay messages effectively.
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette by listening attentively, communicating clearly, and resolving issues efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless communication flow within the medical office environment.
• Use computer skills to navigate multiple software platforms simultaneously while managing high call volumes.
• Analyze caller needs quickly to provide appropriate solutions or escalate complex issues when necessary.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a customer service role within a medical or healthcare setting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with medical office procedures.
• Bilingual or multilingual skills preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in computer skills including data entry, electronic health records (EHR) systems, and standard office software.
• Demonstrated ability to handle high call volumes while maintaining accuracy and composure.
• Previous experience in phone etiquette training or customer support is advantageous.
