About SkillUp Online
SkillUp Online is on a mission to skill 10 million people in 10 years. In partnership with IBM, Microsoft, and Google Cloud, we deliver AI-readiness and tech workforce programs to enterprise employers, government workforce agencies, and higher education institutions. Our enterprise clients deploy SkillUp programs to upskill their workforce in AI, cloud, data, and emerging technologies — and we are accountable for the outcomes.
About the Role
As Client Success & Growth Manager, you own the post-sale relationship with SkillUp's enterprise clients. You are the operator who turns a signed contract into measurable adoption, business outcomes, and renewals — and the strategist who finds the next dollar inside the account. This is a quota-bearing role focused on retention, expansion, and reference-ability. You will work closely with HR, L&D, and business leaders to drive program adoption, surface impact, and identify where SkillUp can do more across the organization. You are the voice of the client inside SkillUp and the trusted advisor outside it.
What You'll Own
- Client relationship management. Serve as the primary post-sale point of contact for enterprise clients. Build trusted relationships with HR, L&D, and business leaders, and ensure a clean handoff from sales to implementation.
- Adoption and activation. Drive program adoption from kickoff through steady-state usage. Run regular check-ins, executive business reviews, and ROI conversations that connect training to business results.
- Retention and renewals. Own the renewal motion for your book of business. Forecast accurately, surface risk early, and close renewals on time.
- Growth and expansion. Identify and close expansion opportunities — additional departments, new programs, deeper licenses, and adjacent use cases. Partner with the AE team on strategic upsell.
- Outcomes and reporting. Track engagement, completion, and skill outcomes. Translate data into client-ready impact stories and quarterly business reviews.
- Cross-functional collaboration. Work with curriculum, delivery, marketing, and product to refine offerings, improve onboarding, and feed client insight back into the roadmap.
- Reference and advocacy. Develop case studies, references, and co-marketing opportunities with your strongest accounts.
What You Bring
- 3–5 years in client success, account management, or relationship management — with quota or retention/expansion targets
- Experience managing enterprise clients with multiple stakeholders across HR, L&D, IT, and business units
- Demonstrated track record of driving adoption, retention, and expansion in a SaaS, EdTech, or workforce solutions environment
- Strong executive presence and the ability to lead business reviews with senior client leaders
- Comfort working with engagement and outcome data — pulling it, reading it, and turning it into a story
- HubSpot CRM experience or comparable platform fluency
- Highly organized; able to manage 15–30 accounts simultaneously without dropping balls
- Bachelor's degree required
Bonus Points
- Background selling or supporting workforce training, AI/cloud certifications, or learning programs
- Familiarity with enterprise L&D ecosystems (LXPs, LMSs, tuition reimbursement platforms like Edcor, Tuition.io, BenefitHub)
- Experience structuring and delivering executive business reviews
- Prior partnership or alliance work with Microsoft, Google Cloud, IBM, or similar
- Project management chops — PMP, Agile, or equivalent operating discipline
How We'll Evaluate Fit
- Walk us through how you turned an at-risk account into a renewal and an expansion
- Show us how you'd structure the first 90 days with a new enterprise client
- Present a mock QBR using sample engagement data
