What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Lead position at SkillsetGroup?
SkillSetGroup is seeking a Maintenance Lead to work in the Riverside, CA area. This position will supervisor daily maintenance duties in a plastic manufacturing environment. The chosen candidate must have experience leading a team of maintenance techs, being a hands-on lead. Knowledge of extrusion or injection mold maintenance is a must. Bilingual Spanish/English is a big plus. This will be a 1st shift position and a DIRECT HIRE opportunity.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Additional Schedule Requirements: May occasionally be asked to cover another shift for vacation coverage
Details
• Prior manufacturing maintenance experience required.
• Plastics manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Previous leadership experience with direct reports required, even if supervising a small team.
• Strong preventative maintenance and facility maintenance background.
• Intermediate electrical troubleshooting skills and basic knowledge of the NEC.
• Basic plumbing skills.
• Basic carpentry and drywall repair skills.
• Experience with compressors, chillers, cooling/water towers, air dryers, and HVAC equipment.
• Experience with computerized preventative maintenance/work order systems.
• Ability to coordinate contractors and outside vendors.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
• Ability to use stairs and ladders and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must provide own hand tools.
EDUCATION
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Formal technical education and/or maintenance certifications are a plus.
• Prior manufacturing maintenance leadership experience required.
• Experience supervising PM Technicians, Maintenance Mechanics, or similar direct reports preferred.
Salary : $37 - $40
