MFG EQUIPMENT OPERATORS (Tube Lasers & Tube Benders)
Job description
Seeking new team members with talents that include strong social and time management skills responsible for operating manufacturing machines including lasers, tube benders, robotic welders, press brakes, & forklifts and communicating with the team to support the demand by our customers for additional talented team members.
- Job title: Equipment Operator (CNC Tube Lasers & CNC Tube Benders)
- Reports to: Production Supervisor
- Shifts: 1st shift (Mondays through Fridays, 6:00am to 2:30pm)
- Ability to commute/relocate: Placentia, CA 92870
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Run manufacturing equipment
- Trouble shoot equipment problems
- Works quickly and efficiently
- Work overtime as needed
Skills, Experience, Education, and Abilities:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Laser operating experience for personnel interested in laser operating work
- Tube bending experience for personnel interested in tube bender operating work
- Robotic welding and press brake operating experience is a plus, but not required
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work overtime if projects require
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Follows procedures
- Understanding of basic shop math
- Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16"
- Ability to read calipers to .000"
